Om Yoshimi, this gold is, um, green and filled with intricate isms. Whimsical psych n' jazz bites and things one cannot pronounce.
Green and Gold goes sooooo thataway poppish and snaps back to punk pfolk and, before you know it, you just know you owe that island an uma and a bag of fat rocks. Jazzgirl jazzdrums with big secrets in the synths. In other words, yes it does have me walking backward on occasion (successfully).
In case the vid is buggy or not yr thing:

Never heard Gold and Green. Taiga definitely gets me excited sometimes, but sometimes its kind of hard to listen to, really depends on my mood. Certainly unique, eclectic and fun. How do the two albums compare?
Thanks for the post.

Fun song. Dig it.

This has a nice mood to it. Closed the eyes, leaned back, and it really made me smile. Hhmmm, guess like chucky I found it fun.

Wow. Starts off sounding like something that would accompany an especially well-drawn Japanese cartoon and ends up as an interstellar tour guide. Most highly cool.

I actually have this record, but Gracenote didn't have the tracks and I'm lazy, so I set it aside..guess I should get off my butt and get it in the system. Nice one! Thrill Jockey is a damn good label..still.

I like the 8 bit video better than the tune.

Brilliant - a gloriously textured soundscape. Appreciate the post; definitely need to add OOIOO to the collection as soon as possible. Cheers.

Whoa! Punky frenzy - in an arty prog-rock vein. Distinctively delicious.

Thanks @everyone! Happy Holidays all around.
@Dzendvokh Taiga is one I need to add to my personal collection so I'm not sure how they'd compare. If similar to their other work, I know what you mean. Green and Gold is more accessible -- at least, it's the album I come back to time and again.
