Pete Doherty Another Arrest This Weekend

In what many people consider another day in the life of a rocker, Pete Doherty was arrested, yet again, on suspicion of possessing illegal drugs. Metropolitan Police declined to directly confirm the report in The Sun newspaper, but said a 28-year-old man was arrested Saturday night in London on suspicion of drug possession. He was released on bail pending investigation and was ordered to return to a police station next month.On April 18, Doherty said people close to him were insisting that he kick his addiction. “The people I’m closest to have had enough. They’ve said it’s drugs or them,” he said. Guess Kate must not be that important after all.

    doombilly says It's really sad and has happened so many times that people just shrug it off. The Blinding ep is not all that good either. IF you are going to string people along you need to hook them up. You'd think a junkie would know that?

    Rawkkiddoh says May I step in, you gotta cut the guy some slack. Drug addiction is an illness, and it seems to have a choke hold on this guy. I would like to see him get help, just so I might have the opportunity to hear another Libertines album. If not, well then forward Kate my number, I have always thought she was beautiful

Still, it _does_ break my heart, just a little, to see someone this F'ed up & incapable of changing his/her ways ...     Rawkkiddoh says Tybees, I cant help but think how many second chances are they going to give this guy? I admit he is sick, if so then do something to help him. The slaps on the wrists are not doing to much to keep him away from drugs. I am tried of seeing celebrities getting off so easy when it comes to breaking the law
