My Chemical Romance Poisoned

While many people who will be reading this are going to be hoping for a different ending to the story, it sounds worse than it actually is. Both MCR and Muse have canceled dates of their ongoing tour after various members of both bands got food poisoning. This was after a show in Williamsburg, Virginia. The poisoning was so severe that it put quite a few members in the hospital, and forced them to cancel their upcoming show in State College Pennsylvania. The tour is scheduled to continue on May 7, provided everyone has recovered. Makes you wonder just what the hell they serve in Williamsburg.

    mktackabery says doesn't surprise me, frankly. There are a lot of problems in the food chain right now. Triple-wash everything and stay away from pork.

    Lizziegreeneyes says Seriously ... I feel for each and every one of them ... it's one thing to be that sick - & with food poisoning - you're *THAT* sick. Add to it that they weren't in the comfort of their own homes - that's how it happened to me. I was in San Francisco & tag-teamed my Mom for the one bathroom we shared. Trash can in front of the toilet ... I thought I was going to die !!! It was the mayo in our tuna fish salads. & on the MCR front ... I love these guys (maybe I'm a little more partial to them cuz they's Jersey boys, & I loves me some Jersey boys) ... but their message is a worthy one & The Black Parade is one hell of a concept album in the same vein as the greats from way back ! Don't be haters, y'all :)

    watchbatteries says MCR performed at William and Mary, which when I think about it, makes no damn sense. Williamsburg is about 15-20 minutes from the Hampton Coliseum and about 45 minutes from the NorVa and ODU's Ted Constant Center. Why MCR and Muse decided to play in a bit of a travel out of the way. Now, it has nothing to do with the air in VA-ah,I can breathe in the low humidity of the Blue Ridge here in Blacksburg. But it has everything to do with the shitty food at W&M. The second oldest college in the nation is infamous for its horrible food. Here at Tech, we have top 10 food, like what I had for lunch.

" So MUSE is saved. Yay. What's up? Er, a lot of stuff. Kinda odd past few weeks here in my part of the states.

    Rawkkiddoh says Anna, I would go with Heath's news, the news blurb I read only talked about the two bands getting sick, nothing of who really was puking a lot. Teeter, you can get them at the Tara McPherson web site I think. At least pictures of them, I liked them alot.

    summer eyes says thats so weird... i also have been food poisoned during a school trip to williamsburg.... i had to fly home early and couldnt keep food down for a week afterward. i had eaten some bad BBQ somewhere.... i still wont eat BBQ. and its 4 years later.

    Dale says Steer clear of the sasame chicken, I got sick from that stuff too. I still loves me some Chinese food, though. 4 yrs with no BBQ?!? I couldn't do it, it's to good to give up.
