Just woke up, and read through the list of comments on my previous post. If you are wondering what the game of hot potato is all about, click here...........http://mog.com/blog_post/view/64784So far I have gotten 9 emails confirming people’s involvement and I think it’s a great start. I am going to add a few things to the "rules" and here is goes.Musical themes to choose from:Monday – AcousticTuesday – PunkWednesday – Indie (thanks Angel)Thursday – Hip HopFriday – FunkSaturday – Live recording (thanks Zero)Sunday – CoversOther ideas:electronic/remix/fusion (thanks cipher)Shoegaze Saturdays (thanks Dale and Chucky)To address Taylspin's question, once you get the cd with the songs on it, you upload those tracks onto your computer. Then when you burn the forwarding cd, you include what ever song you want to add to the mix and send it along.I also saw a few people wanting to do the whole thing digitally, and for me that defeats the purpose. It seems everyone is happy these days just to rely on emails and the internet. I love getting mail, especially when it’s something you are looking forward to. Once everyone is signed up, I will have a list of where the cd is going, and where it has been. Like in MOG Wars, I will expect people to email me when they send it off, and when they receive it in the mail. While it would be easy to just have everyone post all their songs on a site like Multiply, this will be a little more suspenseful. People who add music early on will have no idea what the final track listing will be. People who have to add their songs near the end may change what kind of music they put on because of what it already on there. Once the last person has added their music, and it’s sent to me I will go forward with cover art, and will make an MP3 cd to send out. I hope that covers everything, and I hope to see more mog mails with people saying they are in. Remember no mogmail, no hot potato game.
