Rockstar unveils new trailer

Posted over 2 years ago
Normally a video game trailer would not mean music news, when it comes to Grand Theft Auto games this is an exception. Rockstar games has made public the first trailer to the game Grand Theft Auto IV. The game already looks amazing, and I can not wait to see what the boys over at Rockstar have in store for us. In addition to the new game, this will mean an all new soundtrack. In each game in the series the music has been spot on, and it makes the game that much more enjoyable to play. With the new Playstation and the Xbox 360, one can only imagine how many radio stations they will include in the game. Enjoy the trailer, I know I did.

  3. dj ivi says i love the radio stations on this game! i don't really play video games at all anymore, but i have found myself sitting in front of the tele watching others play GTA just coz i'm jammin to the tunes! i think it may have been GTA3 that had a killer reggae station - great dub, great roots, so many good tunes i hadn't heard anywhere else in so long! i found out later that The Scientist was fuming mad when he found out his songs were on there. turns out Greensleeves sold the rights to songs they didn't own, and Scientist was pissed! i guess he doesn't understand what a great place it is to be featured, how much it furthers your music to people who may not have ANY exposure to that style anywhere else. kinda like a video game of mog.....

  4. Rawkkiddoh says I agree dj, and more than once I have found myself going out and getting music that was on the game. The fact that they put out compilations now of the radio stations is even better.

  5. brand X says Just like GTA 3 was the reason I got a PS2, GTA IV will be the reason I get a new system (leaning towards the 360 at this point). I caught this trailer last night in a high res clip and I was way more blown away than I would have ever thought possible. It looks really good, which shouldn't matter with GTA, because the visuals have always been the least worthwhile part of the experience. dj is dead on about KJAH in GTA 3. That was one ass-kickin' station. And with everything since GTA 3, one of the best parts of playing has always been the music. It always bothered me that you could only listen while driving. Can't I chainsaw a guy for his Ipod or something?

  6. Rawkkiddoh says Brand X, I agree and I too am leaning towards a 360. I already have been looking at selling all my PS 2 stuff for two reasons, 1. GH 2 and 2. GTA IV. I kind of like the fact that the music stops when you leave a car, makes you want to get right back in a just drive around. I have even sat in my car waiting for a song to end before starting a new mission.

  7. Marta says I looked up every 80's song I heard on Vice City, the soundtracks are hot stuff too... i also have the banned edition of the first one on PS2 where you pay to pick up hookers (it was recalled after the first hour) it's just too funny

  8. TroyPowers says R: Yeah, that "Somebody's Watching Me" was on the Vice City soundtrack strange enough. And I know those were mostly FMV scenes, but that looks awesome. I'm a PS3 man myself. Can't wait to get my hands on this game.

  9. Lyrikhan says these games dominate my life when they come out...haha have been waiting to get a new system when this game comes out as well.....looks good, though it would appear to be in liberty city again which is kinda played out

  10. Rawkkiddoh says Played out perhaps, but there were a lot of shots in there that made it look like NYC, which would be really cool
