I do not know about the rest of you, but when I am reading posts by fellow moggers certain songs pop into my head when I see who wrote them. It seems that the past 6 months on mog have caused me to assign “theme” songs to a lot of the moggers I talk with. I do not know if this is just something I do or if others of you have similar habits. I decided to go through my trusted list, and share with you some of the songs that play in my brain when I see your avatar pop up on mog. There will be some that I miss, but that’s just because I have not assigned you a song yet.Amy Honey – Lips Like Sugar by Echo and the BunnymenAnna – Copacabanna by Barry MannilowAugusts1 – August by Rilo KellyBlew Monday – Blue Monday by New OrderBlue Meenie – Grandma Shampoo by Blue MeaniesBohemianlullaby – What I Am by Edie BrickellSamthebutcher - Shake Your Rump by the Beasties BoysTroypowers - Sex, Drugs, Rap and Roll by Killer MikeBrickbat – Brickbat by Billy BraggMe and the Horse With No Name – A Horse With No Name by AmericaLilithK – Dani California by RHCPDale – These Boots Were Made For Walking by Nancy SinatraUniversalis – Love Roller Coaster by the Ohio PlayersRiver Lethe – Goody Two Shoes by Adam AntLibraianguish – Teach Your Children by C,S,N and YMickimicki – Mickey by Tony BasilJohn Ingham – I Cover the Waterfront by Billie HollidayLadyC – I Love Paris by Frank SinatraMilkshake – Milkshake by KelisGoodmusiconly – Good Music by the RootsSatisfiedmind614 – Via Chicago by WilcoDangerpilot – This Aint A Scene by Fallout BoyMarco1019 - Mecca and the Soul Brother by Pete Rock and CL Smooth1234Chainsaw – Chainsaw by the RamonesMama1955- Tomorrow Comes Today by the GorillazNixne Svix – Dr. Feelgood by Motley CrueMike the Knife – Mac the Knife by Louis ArmstrongCrashpryor – Get Up, Stand Up by Bob MarleyFistulaspume - Twiggy Twiggy by the Pizicatto FiveChucky – Revolution by Authority ZeroChulsmith – Don’t Sit Next to Me Just Because I’m Asian by Skankin PickleLester Jonze – Bad Moon Risin by CCRThill – The Thrill Is Gone by B.B. 13. Me and the Horse I Rode In On says You know....Beatrix Kiddo. And.....you're mean, you know kung fu and you drive a pussy wagon. I will stay far away from both Greece and Copacabanna.......so I should be safe. I really hope that I'll never run out of b-sides. If I had a b-side for every bad joke my life would be a whole lot easier.

  26. Rawkkiddoh says Pussy wagon huh........ thats what they call the malibu in Europe I guess Henry. Anna, what exactly is a pussy wagon. I am afraid to ask Henry Erin, I remember the conversation and I will take that song as a theme song as well Troy, check the list it has been added Lester, its your avitar that brings that song up everytime I hear it.

  27. Mike the Knife says Troy just reminded me that I'd pick Ian Dury & the Blockheads' "Sex & Drugs & Rock 'n' Roll" - minus most of the drugs - if I wanted another theme song. But Rawk certainly nailed mine: Kurt Weill & Bertolt Brecht's "Mac the Knife," as sung by anybody.

  51. bloodtea says Gee... this theme song thing reminded me of what I often do... sometimes I can be really annoying but I find quite difficult resisting the humming or whistling of “that” song, which suddenly pops when you’re near “that” person. I also have a list (that I do not intend to disclose at this precise moment) of all the “fortunate” people who crossed my life and my “audio memory database”, and occasionally when I see someone, for no reason of my knowledge, there’s a tune drifting in the air. (Well, I believe you would have been better off without knowing about this, and by the way sorry about the "invasion"... but I just couldn't stop here without leaving a comment.)

  52. Rawkkiddoh says bloodtea, it makes me happy to know I am not the only one who does this. Not only do I do it on mog, but in every day life. Seems to make things more interesting.
