Coachella who?

While the buzz on MOG is about Coachella and Bonnaroo, it seems that there is a festival that we may have forgotten about. This would be the Carling/Leeds festival that is to take place August 24-26.Prior to the official line up announcement on April 3rd, the rumour mill concerning who's playing the 2007 Carling Weekend is in full swing. The worlds greatest outdoor festival, which takes place over 3 days and 2 cities (200 miles apart), happens in August and attracts close to 100.000 people per day. Its rumoured this years headline slots will be filled by RAZORLIGHT, RED HOT CHILLI PEPPERS and SMASHING PUMPKINS whilst major acts like TOOL, AC/DC, FALL OUT BOY, NOFX, VELVET REVOLVER and TRIVIUM will also feature, amongst at least 100 others. I think with the incredible line ups at Coachella and Bonnaroo, this one will really have to work on keeping its title of greatest outdoor festival.

  7. justcheez says The Leeds leg never gets that much attention compared to Reading, so I'm happy! I think I'll be going, most important shows I have seen have been at Leeds. Totally can't wait! Although, it isn't usually the headliners that excite me, it's the smaller bands on the smaller stages and for some reason they're never really announced until tickets have sold out.

  8. Me and the Horse I Rode In On says August: England is a new country but it only exists on the internet. Smashing Pumpkins. I would be lying if I claimed not to be waiting for the album.
