I want my MTV?

Posted almost 5 years ago
It seems MTV plans to take back the planets young from places such as Myspace and Youtube by starting a whole host of websites designed to restore the 'youth culture' tag once worn by the network. It's planned websites will allow its users to watch, contribute and even re-edit MTV programs amongst other things. MTV Networks who own MTV will work with Viacom, but critics believe this could lead to the MTV brand being diluted. Diluted you say? When is the last time you turned on MTV and actually saw a video, or anything musically related? If you ask me all MTV needs too do to win people back is to start playing music again and get rid of all the pointless reality-celeb-shows it poisons TV screens with.
