WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

To know Meez is to love Meez

Posted over 2 years ago
It seems like this whole Meez thing has come out of nowhere, although the web site has been around for a while. I had not heard of it, but found myself like a lot of people spending a good hour trying to find the perfect combination of features to make myself come to life. I thought the outcome was pretty realistic, except for the fact I don't weigh 100 pounds with a 20 inch waist. My question to the mog-o-sphere is how many people have gone and made a Meez of themselves. I know there are two types here: 1. They made it, and use it for their picture on MOG, and 2. They made it but keep it on their desktop. So post your Meez here, and for those of you crafty enough, post your real picture next to your Meez picture. I have seen a few really good ones so far, and I still wonder how close to an epidemic this has become.

  4. Rawkkiddoh says August, you will fall fate to the Meez epidemic. Dale, I found out today that I need to start losing weight when my own mother told me I looked heavy. Crash, I am not sure but I am guessing that means you have not hit the Meez site yet!

  5. Augusts1 says Sorry but they creep me out, seriously! So I won't be meezing at all. Your Meez doesn't even look like you Kev!

  6. mutterimieli says Whoa.. I don't fall into neither 1 nor 2. I made my meez but don't use it as an avatar nor do I keep it on my desktop. I put the ones I made on François' but that's it. It's cute, it was a great way to waste some time but like I said elsewhere, it only comes in one size, "fashionable" and that's something I'm not! heh

  12. angeldawn says Thanks Dale. I'm loving Meez cause it means even when it's 12 degrees outside I can be swinging on a tire in my bunny slippers and pjs. I didn't realize the site had been around for awhile. I'd like to know how many people are actually earing coinz and buying the premium stuff.

Hahahaha..... My meez took forever because I wanted to try on everything and I couldn't figure out how to change the hair color for the longest time.

  32. Rawkkiddoh says Librarianguish nice touch with the hula-hoop. ciaran likewise with the horse, a little adam sandler if you will. Haggard funny you should mention that, I was looking for my pictures from back when I worded at musicland the other day and could not find them. Then when you said there is a Greg Gaffin poster in the backround I tried to find it in your Meez picture, then realized it was in your real pict. I am not the brightest bulb today. Etc, I am with ya but I feel in to the evil.

  40. etcvisitor says im not saying im above it, but i dont understand it... last time i designed a character for something it was video game poker... i got it pretty accurate, but this meez thing? just so i can have a digital self portrate that does some random action on repeat? i dont know man. i mean seriously, what is the benefit above the novelty. PS im not dissing the novelty or the idea that the novelty might be a benefit in and of it self, im just wondering.

  41. Universalis says . . Just for fun, most of us had a fun time designing our meez, and no one ever told you you HAD to do some copy of your self, you can let your imagination wander wherever you want with it, have bat wings, have the face of your neighbor, fly, wear funny clothes you wouldn't dare to wear inyour everyday... that we call play, just play... like kiddies do, also what i was referring to those 'above it' or overage to that 8))))) Now i shall also add that i have no connection at all with the people running this meez affair, i just discovered it last friday and induced some friends to try... the side joke turned into something big, maybe even bigger than any of the posts i ever would get speaking only of my personnal problems or the new QWERTZ or ASDFG album for sale at your local eMusic dealer. I can't think of nothing more to add yet. Peace and love your meez 8)))))

  43. Rawkkiddoh says Awesome people! Universalis, can you say carbon copy. Etc, I dont really get it as well, but its kind of fun trying to really make your meez look like yourself. Zero I had the same problem with the shoes. 9 times out of 10 I have vans on my feet, and the only thing that resembles them are the slip ons. Nice job on the meez rendition.
