Today has been a day I have been wanting to come for quite some time. The fact that I planned my entire night around it shows how truly nerdy I actually am. Earlier tonight I made a trip over to Robot Love, a local store that specializes in limited edition designer toys, clothing, books, prints and magazines.
The special occasion happened to be the release of the newest line of Dunny's, a designer toy that I happen to have way too many of. This years line up was to feature copious amounts of creativity by Amanda Visell, Aya Kakeda, Clutter, Devilrobots, Dirty Donny, Frank Kozik, Huck Gee, JMGS//Jellymoon, Jesse LeDoux, JK5, Junko Mizuno, Kathie Olivas, MAD, Mad Barbarians, MISHKA, Reach, Sneaky Raccoon, Steven Harrington, TOOFLY. All artists I like, and the designs they made speak for themselves.
I guess by now you can see this is not a music post, but in all reality I could care less. After waiting in line for a half and hour, getting free mexican food and listening to a live dj I now am in possesion of two un-opened boxes of Dunnys. This should last me for the next few weeks, and I can only hope to score one of the rare Golden Tickets in the process. My name is Kevin, and I am a nerd-a-holic.

knick knacky, go check out ebay to see what some of these babies go for. Get the right one and its an early pay day to say the least!

You are going to have to do better than that............I ended up getting three cases from that series. Found someone on ebay who wanted to buy some of my doubles, and got enough money to get more. I did not get the ep by the way, August is trying to help me be able to download stuff off of M.

RGM - These things are too hard to come by to be as popular as beanie babies. Check out Ebay, some go for as much as 2500 bucks

You REALLY should go and live in the Japan. The 'Toy' stores are unbelievable, shocking and amazing at the same time...with porn mixed in with the kids stuff and no age restrictions....very strange.

Anna, they are awesome and I thought of you when I saw the pink pirate dunny. I have seen the new works from Tara and like you I am equally impressed.
Greg - They do and I am almost finished with my newest one I have created. They are worth the money if you want to try your creative skills on them, hardest part is deciding on what you want to do.
Neill - If I were going to move it would be to either London or Tokyo. Both have a soft spot in my heart, although I am sure I would go broke living in Japan.
