WHERE THE HOKEY POKEY "IS" WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT

For LesterJonze becaue I miss the posts

Posted about 1 year ago

It is late here in Minnesota and I am trying to ice my otherwise swollen knees. This after having to remove a rock that was embedded in my skin all because of a full game of soccer. I played net tonight and it was a tough game all around. My knees seem to have taken most of the hits, and even as I type this they look swollen as well as black and blue.

I actually checked my email tonight hoping to see a post from LesterJonze. It happens quite often that I come on to mog looking for "certain" posts that moggers do on a consistent basis. It started way back when I used to look for CrashPryors posts just in hopes of learning something new that I did not know before. Then came the Dale EMCD posts, and I was honored to see I made his page as one of the many he performed a "hit" on. During MOG Wars it's the posts of death, and I try as hard as I can to find all the people who are participating in the event just to see how each person met their demise. Jazz posts are a treat from IAm, and like w many other posts I seem to want to take notes on what is posted as well as being discussed. I think that is one of the best things about mog, even if you think you know everything about music, there is always someone out there to show you something new.

LesterJonze, well he does these posts that he calls Late Night Music. Groove time chillin is what makes him chose the music and he has been doing them for as long as I have been on MOG. Well, there was no post from Lester tonight, and I needed something to send me to that happy place I call sleep. Instead I am going to send him something and you can call it a long distance dedication Casey Kasem style.
Lester, give me something to wake up to, your last post like this was way back in early July. Hope this song does for you what your posts do for me.

Interesting song, nice dedication! I've heard of Carla but don't think I've actually heard a song of hers that I know of.

She is singing about things to do tomorrow.  After doing the dishes, and starting the laundry, she has pick up the dry cleaning.  She thought she may have a lunch date, but it got cancelled because the friend had a doctor's appointment that they had forgotten, so instead she will return that book at the library, and see what videos she can pick up for the weekend.  For dinner, she was thinking about having something light as it is summer and hot, maybe a chilled soup.

I just wanted to assist with the translation of the song.

There's something intoxicating about French lyrics. Always flowing romantically. That's a nice gentle 'lullabye' that's perfect for settling down for the night. Thanks Kiddoh
