New Feist Video

While it may not be a totally new concept, Feist appeared on none other than the Sesame Street recently. As usual, she changed up the lyrics to fit the show and the result was nothing short of great. Sometimes it pays to have a 2 year old who likes to watch cookie monster.

Feist is ruining my childhood, retroactively.
hahahahahhaa, take it this will not be on your upcoming mix?
What can I say? I love it! But, why the hell is she dressed like someone's grandmother from 1987? Leslie Feist is so adorable and that outfit is just not doing her any justice.
No, it won't. I like everything Broken Social Scene does, but Feist, I just can't dig on her. Amy Milan and Emily Haines can take Leslie any day of the week. Unfortuantely, they're all in the same damn band.
steph, I loved it as well but I agree about the outfit. Maybe she is looking to be on What Not to Wear
Them Muppets are diggin it!
Sesame Street nostalgia is rare but itthis feature is a treat that's kid friendly and exposes them to a decent artist.
but you're dead - how does he do it...
Indeed they are RGM
Eric, while the street is really cool you have to catch an episode of Yo Gabba Gabba.......its incredible the music guests they have brought on that show
even in death I still bring the music.........even if it is sung by furry little monsters
That was so cute that it almost went through the veil of cuteness and out the other side to obnoxiousness. (Seriously, I loved it.)
I think they need to toughen up their image & get someone like Trent or Marilyn Manson to do a song. That was just too perky & fun, damn that Feist!
Urgh, I just want to break through the screen and hug her...
It's official. Broken Social Scene has now infiltrated 1983 as well.
That was great!....
It's true, I never, ever wore those sweaters my grandma gave me for christmas.......
Has anyone heard BSS's version of Puff the Magic Dragon? Classic.
Word. Two year olds rule.
I knew the song but not the band/girl. Pretty catchy song.
I guess the reworking was a natural for Sesame Street. G is in the process of sending the link to our 2-year-old niece.
Give Feist a break on the clothes - its a show for young kids, looking like a grandmother is probably the height of hip for that crowd.
I need an MP3 of this so I can sneak it into a mix!
