NOFX has a new album coming out next week, guess you can say I am happy as a pig in its own filth. I have been reading news on the upcomming release and today I saw the boys of NOFX are having a contest. It comes after the internet release of their new song "Creeping Out Sara" The song is about Sara from Tegan and Sara fame, and because of one youtube video they decided to have a make your own video contest and win tons of NOFX stuff in the process. The idea is simple, make your own video for their new song and submit it to the Fatwreck web site. If they think yours is good you win, keep in mind the NOFX crew has a strange sense of humor. I was lucky enough to be an extra in the video for "Seeing Double at the Triple Rock" and to be in it you had to show up dressed as a priest or a nun. Good times indeed, so I can not wait to see if any one has the creative juices to one up the video that started it all. This one made me laugh pretty hard.

Enjoy the new album when it comes out. I don't care for Tegan & Sara much at all. Oh well. But that vid is funny.

Their Backstage Pass series last year on FUSE was great. Looking forward to hearing the new album...

August - I knew the music would not be a fav of the mog crowd but the video was pretty funny
Sam - and I guess Sara confirmed the whole thing happened which makes it even funnier to me
Eric - I have listened to it and it does sound rad......almost as rad as the spam post I seem to have gotten
So, were you dressed as a priest, or as a nun?

So, if you were a priest (I always thought priests wore pants), how did they see your fishnets? Or were the stockings not part of the costume, but just something you wear on occasion under your clothes?
More importantly, where are the pictures?
I had the long priest robe, and wore them underneath. The flyer said they wanted you to look unique, kind of like punk priest. Didnt have the nuts to show them off though, though people would have thought I was a little weird. Seemed like a good idea at the time I guess

I guess I can kinda see where you're coming from. Kinda your ace in the hole. If they say you don't look crazy enough to make the bid, you lift up your robe and say, "Take a look at THIS!"

Just hope you don't end up like one of my g/f's college professors. He was flipping through slides during class and his wife purposefully put a picture of him scantily clad in fishnets in the middle of his presentation. He wasn't happy and thouroughly embarrassed.
