WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

So Van Halen seems to be back

Posted over 2 years ago
This is something that makes me happy. With all the bands that have gotten back together as of late, I would love to see this line-up at least once before they go gently into the night. I just read a great post from mktackabery regarding the concert, if you ever liked Van Halen I suggest you check it out here...........http://mog.com/mktackabery/blog_post/114609With as great as it is to see Eddie back and playing, there has been a question that has been on my mind all day. WHERE IN THE HECK IS THE HOT POTATO?!?!?!?!Those of you who know about this project know it has been floating around the United States for some time. However I stopped getting any mogmails regarding its where abouts. If anyone has any idea where this collection of music ended up please let me know.As for my Sunday, well I am going to send this song out to Michelle. A man named Tom Leach and his cover of Dance the Night Away. Enjoy, and hope everyone has a great Monday tomorrow.

  3. mktackabery says awesome kevin, many thanks; that cover is AWESOME. I hope you get to see them. You know I was going to send you a MOGmail asking where the hell that thing went? It's like it dropped off the face of the earth! It hasn't come round here that's for sure.

  5. Rawkkiddoh says The hot potato was a project I started where I got as many moggers that wanted to play, and then sent out a blank cd. The object was to add one song onto the cd, and then pass it along to the next person n the mailing list. I had 35 people willing to play, including some mogger from over seas. There was a theme involved, and out it went. I got mogmails from the first 5 people on the list, and then nothing. I would like to think its still out there somewhere, just wondering where it might be

  17. Lizziegreeneyes says The suckage is great regarding the mix that shares its name with a cheezy Wiggles' song. Ah well.... I am still hopeful that it may come outta hiding somewhere down the road.

  18. dermahrk says I forget how this was supposed to work, not being a participant. But, if one party drops the ball, does the whole thing grind to a halt? And you had 35 participants? You are an optimist, my one-eyed friend.

  19. doombilly says While I would rather take a beating than see Van Halen live, I do have a Peavey amplifier with Edward's name on it. It's pretty sweet.

  24. Sean Balanger says I sent it off...I think I was the third person...man, it was starting to look really awesome too...I just came here trying to find an update. Sucks that it's lost.

  25. Sean Balanger says Oh, yea, I had to send it to Canada so I had to fill out a claims slip. Maybe someone in Canada couldn't get it back into the US? Or maybe the RIAA confiscated it and forgot to sue everyone on the list...no they wouldn't pass up a deal like that!
