I posted this last night, and for some reason it stopped letting people post comments on it. I could not even go to add my own two cents, and from the responses I was getting I wanted more.I will include the comments from other moggers, and I wish I knew how to include I am's song. Today has been an interesting day for me on MOG. On a post by Crashpryor, I joked about how I was going to be putting the moves on my wife at some point during the night. Alas, as any married couple might tell you, trying to bust a move after a long week of work is next to impossible. Throw in the fact that you have a 17 month old in desperate need of a bath, and third base might as well seem like China. It started me thinking of the times when I would be getting ready to go out on dates. Dates for me never ended up very well, usually after about three of them, I would be forced to change my number and hope that the person I had been seeing would never be able to find me again. The third date for me has been disastrous, the worst being when a girl told me she was married but her husband was into this sort of thing. There were a few dates that you would "prepare" your room in case the date ended there. What I mean by this of course is cleaning, making the bed and putting music into your cd player, just in case a game of baseball ended up getting played in your bedroom. While what should be played in the bedroom is a debate that will never end, I am sure many of my moggers have a cd they consider their spanish fly. The reason I think of this is because on the night my then girlfriend, now wife was to leave to go back to school, I put Yo La Tengo's album "I Can Hear The Heart Beating As One" on just in case. The date never ended up where I hoped it would, but the long term effects of it have made me love the album everytime I hear it. Since then I have made many a mix tape for her with songs from the album on it. I still consider it my spanish fly, and wonder if other out in the mog-o-sphere have albums they think would help seal the deal.

I am - Just one song Naples by Bungoo
Crash - Al Green Im Still In Love With You ...ranked #285 on Rolling Stone’s list of 500 albums in 2003…AND THEY SUCK !!!...trust, this one works…
RGM - No Comment…Except have fun!
Ivylander - Almost anything Marvin Gaye ever released
Me and the Horse - If you ever decided to play one of my songs I will send you money!
If not…...............
It’s hard for me to recommend something…...but I always try to pick a song no longer than 2 1/2 minutes.
Okay…......I’ll try to be serious about this.
Al Green of course.
Beth Orton – Central Reservation is not a bal album either.
Of course I’ve been told.
mickimicki - Everybody who wants children should read this post first ;-) It’s a common misconception that marriage ensures regular romantic nights… true, dating doesn’s seem to work out well all that often… but family, well it’s family…
Even now, with my son well out of terrible 2, it happens WAY too often that I just crash in his bed after tucking him in around 9 PM… SO TIRED … many times Chris waited for a call or IM in vain because I’d passed out… are we all getting old or what?
me and the horse - We are getting a bit old. But….....I would not trade.

Thanks for reposting, Kevin. I don't really have one. Maybe because I'm a girl, so I don't really need one. I realize that the "the- man- always- wants" is a stereotype, but that doesn't mean that is is not true.

Ok...First time had Shriekback's "Oil & Gold" playing, which worked surprisingly well & still makes me think of such activities.
Other albums that have either played a part or seem good - Erasure's "Chorus", Billy Bragg's "Don't Try This At Home", Moodswings' "Moodfood" and, again, surpisingly, Supergrass' "I Should Coco" - it starts of with the manic "I'd Like To Know" & "Caught By The Fuzz" (for that just-got-back-to-the-room groping session") and winds down - slowly - to the chilled out "Sofa (Of My Lethargy)" and "Time To Go".
My all-time favorite album for amorous adventures - Cocteau Twins' "The Pink Opaque". Even the title is erotic.
