Black Label Society March 14 2007 @ the Masquerade,Atlanta Georgia

WOOO HOOOlast nights show pretty much kicked major assit was at the Masquerade which is pretty much a bar that consists of "heaven" "hell" & "purgatory"heaven being where live bands are,hell is that dancing area downstairs.ha haand purgatory the chill and shoot pool area.I had not been here since the late 80's early 90's and on one trip.don't even remember it(ouch) well it al started off pretty badly as i pulled out of my driveway and then spilt my diet coke completely over me.grrrrr then off to pick up my son and there was almost no traffic at rush hour? WTF?the south bound lane was a mess thoughi have absolutely no idea whom the opening band was.nobody knew.it was supposed to be Halifax.well they came out and got the crowd of mostly young males...DUH,all hyped up and all they was screaming was ZAKK ZAKK!! i actually stood by the speakers like i used to do,i will be deaf in another 10 years and got "in the pit".and the thing i learned about that is i am way too old for that shit,but nobody knocked my ass down and one cat kept waiting for me to turn my back.asshole almost pissed me offblack label and hit the stage and of course proceeded to tear the roof off the placei cannot remember all the songs played and asked for a set list to no avail.i don't know how anybody keeps up with that stuff!! my brain is not so good while I'm rawking ;)the sound there is not the best in the world and it was definitely vibrating the floor AND the floors where moving up and down during the madness.heres some PICSI will one day learn to use that thing and there was lots a FLUIDS flying around.ACK of course i have found a new concert buddy in my son,whom chickened out on my when it got crazy up front,and he went and got his ass against the wall.tee heei am sore as crap,hoarse,got a gash on my leg (wtf?) and we got lost coming out of ATL *AGAIN* grrrrr i have no directionwell i'm not that good at this review stuffbasically IT RAWKEDand my dumb ass left my last bit of mog stuff in the carbut i told 100 people.good way to strike up a conversationand BTW every other person there had on some BLS stuff what you think about those apples indie/emo concert going peeps?
