it has been relatively beautiful round here since i came back. i can log right in read post n leave groovy i dig it maybe we were a little over our heads n shit but i have also noticed no confrontation on my posts which i did not wish would come but expected with what i read over the past week it has taken every ounce of PIMPNESS to not reply to the negativity i promised that i would be good and not spew forth as our brethren has so chose to do on so many posts. i have en bookmarked and still feel the slight need to go to war you know me ;) a kinder gentler PIMP just wants peace love and rawk. just got back from a 70's theme party a no drinking drug party which is not usually my forte and in all actuality was really really groovy i made some mix cds and had some fondue and watched my buddy fly over in his 10,000.00 parachute plane and just chilled. i actually don't get out much well the gist of this post is my argument that the 70's are the best decade for music i know i know mainly i guess with me it is because of "southern rawk" if we could just IGNORE disco i mean i love 70's pop cheeze, that 70's R&B man all that stuff is what i am actually made of. thanks peeps for being slightly fair n kind (with my guns in my holster) and thanks DH for giving me a beautiful place to ramble THIS is home....

Fuck you, pipm. I refuse to be the only asshole in the room. You'll never pass for mellow, anyway you fuckwell better not. Choose sobriety if you must, but there's no fucking way yr just some laidback dude.

Re the seventies: it started great, it ended great, and it had a whole lotta crap in the middle (which is a big part of why it ended great - punk rebellion against bloated rock "stars".) God knows how ya pick a whole decade, it probably gets decided by when you were a teenager.

Hey, Keith, your drink sounds disgusting. I think the only time I ever threw up from alcohol was from a bunch of 7 & 7's (at least it was a Love reference, right?)...but diet coke, urgh. But glad you're here again...did you see the big Slash interview in the current issue of MOJO? Apparently he and Axl had some personal problems, who'da guessed?

You sure you're not drinking wine? It's pretty mellow in here...

Yes, the 70's stand out for me as well. And, If I can say that from my focal point of, Cooper, Roxy Music, Costello, et al and you from the S. Rock empire, plus allllll them great radio hitz, I do think you nailed it.

I dug the 70's and 90's, thought some of the 90's band like Soundgarden and Temple were a little reminiscent the 70's. I dig the Stoner Rock sound of this era also. The 80's started ok with bands like Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, and Sabbath with Dio coming on the scene. I thought the 70's belonged to Led Zeppelin IMO.

Yea I've tried the diet mix before with whiskey, vodka, and the children's drink Jaegermeister which makes a great beer chaser . That Lynyrd Skynyrd rawks dude!

jenny : If you really want the pukes, try a hard liquor suicide in a big gulp cup. Mmm yummy and you time travel with it too (blackout) lol!
