I've got much love for EJ. Saw him in Vegas summer before last...in my top concerts of all time. I can't say I've cared for ALL of the recent stuff, but I'm tolerant. This one is epic though

I have a good chunk of his albums from the 70's ... but, I agree, ever since "I’m Still Standing”, he kinda lost it with me.

Nah... I gotta agree with the Pimp.... Rock of the Westies was alright... But "Captain Fantastic" was a landmark album... brilliant from beginning to end... then... a swift drop down the elevator shaft... But this song is pretty good... Thanks!

"Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding" and "Saturday Night's All Right," and then, I was done with him.

But of course, there are 50 or so songs of his that I still love that preceded those couple. I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm still moved when I hear "Tiny Dancer." (I think it has something to do with the song's perfect use in the film "Almost Famous.")
