Ehhh...Mike was awesome. Made some incredible music. Had moves that were out of this world. Was one of the greatest entertainers to ever live. Honestly, Pimp, I'd say as far as overall entertainment, he trumps everbody you have on that list up there. Every single one. Was he weird? Fuck yeah! Did he molest a little boy? Ehhh...it's possible. Personally, I think most of the world figured, "Oh, he's such a recluse and a weirdo, he probably did it."
Either way, his contributions to music and to the world are indisputable and unequalled.
That's my two cents, and it's worth a dollar. :)

Well....I fall somewhere between Troy & Keith on this one. Troy...your assertion that he trumped everyone on that list is foolish & i assume you made it with your tongue firmly in cheek. Most of Michael's contribution to our culture were extra-musical. He certainly broke new ground (with massive doses of a true Master, Quincy Jones), but in a rather narrowly defined musical genre.
