He say's it all & more, I would almost substitute the word trippy with fucked up but thats just me lol. The opening scene reminds me & gives that feel from another one of Johnny C.'s best "Identity" another classic. I'll also add there are parts that start to pull you in then pull you out just in time.This is a great flick & a new classic...

Marigold says thanks for the review clip. I do not go to see many movies but I admit this preview did interest me. I love when a movie can scare the shit out of you without out the gore. It sounds like that is what 1408 is all about.

atman says to be honest, from the initial movie previews and commercials, I had my doubts about whether this movie would be any good. Trying to picture John Cusack in a Stephen King movie was weird. But all the other reviews I've read say the movie pretty much kicks ass. If it ever shows up in this hick town I"m gonna see it. cool post.
