I know income wealth redistribution is the major aim of socialists, but in a free market economy, developed around a representative democracy, wealth redistribution become subsidies for voting blocs. If you have ten ppl to tax, and you need 100 dollars to run things, you know what happens. (and IRS records confirm this). The first THREE ppl don't make enough, they PAY NO TAXES. The next six pple will pay 49 dollars between them. the last guy, (the richest) pays 51 dollars. If you cut taxes across the board, You're certainly right, the RICHEST get the biggest tax cuts, DUH! The bottom three folks DON"T GET A TAX CUT. The next six get cuts accordingly Bush's tax cuts have cut the deficit IN HALF. IN TWO YRS!!! (two yrs ahead of schedule) SO.............

    RGM says Sometimes I'd say was never WW3, just the pre-cursor. Careful, careful cause a real real WW3 doesn't have mogging in it...Just a bloodbathe...It's all semantic's for now, but too many pissed off people. They better be careful, the bowl's might hit the fan on this one...I pray not... :(

You call anyone in authority on their call especially if your justified and they get enraged...This is the land of Rape And Honey...I have had first hand experience and don't believe it. Bush's tax cuts (and the war he planned from the day he was elected and lied us into) and his generally disasterous policies *created* the current deficit - there was no current deficit when Bush took office. (There was a runnning deficit, inherited almost entiorely from previous Republican administrrations). A definition of "insanity" is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Republicans, the "party of fiscal responsibility", come into office, start wars, cut taxes, and achieve record deficits. Democrats come into office, get stuck with the epublican wars and deficits, work steadily to reduce the deficits, and get characterised by Republicans as being "tax and spend" politicians. Then the Republicans come into office, and prove they're insane. Reagan called his tax cuts "trickle down" economics. Couple of things about that - (1) you might want to look up who originated the phrase and what it originally meant (Reagan wanted to use *Born in the USA* as a campaign song, too.) (2) and he was right - it did trickle down to the peons, eventually, in the usual form that provides the derivation of the term pPee-on"...
