From The Wiki...Ultramega OK, released in 1988, was the debut album by Soundgarden. The album was nominated for the Grammy for Best Metal Performance in 1990. Chris Cornell stated the album title was conceived by Kim Thayil as a joke. The songs "665" and "667" are parodies of the idea of Satanic content in rock music, the idea being that if 666 is such a powerful number, then the surrounding numbers must be even more powerful. "665" contains backwards messages about Santa."Smokestack Lightning" is a Howlin' Wolf cover. The end of the song is a sample from Sonic Youth's "Death Valley '69" from the album Bad Moon Rising. The music video for Flower received limited MTV airplay."One Minute Of Silence" is a "cover" of John Lennon's "Two Minutes Of Silence" with Yoko Ono's part cut out.The album was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1988/89 (losing to Metallica's 'One'). Soundgarden would eventually win a Grammy for Black Hole Sun and Spoonman in 1995 and be nominated for Pretty Noose in 1997.Song Length Credits 01 "Flower" 3:25 Chris Cornell, Kim Thayil 02 "All Your Lies" 3:51 Chris Cornell, Kim Thayil, Hiro Yamamoto 03 "665" 1:37 Chris Cornell, Hiro Yamamoto 04 "Beyond The Wheel" 4:20 Chris Cornell 05 "667" 0:56 Chris Cornell, Hiro Yamamoto 06 "Mood For Trouble" 4:21 Chris Cornell 07 "Circle Of Power" 2:05 Kim Thayil, Hiro Yamamoto 08 "He Didn't" 2:47 Matt Cameron, Chris Cornell 09 "Smokestack Lightning" 5:07 Howlin' Wolf 10 "Nazi Driver" 3:52 Chris Cornell, Hiro Yamamoto 11 "Head Injury" 2:22 Chris Cornell 12 "Incessant Mace" 6:22 Chris Cornell, Kim Thayil 13 "One Minute Of Silence" 1:00 John Lennon http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultramega_OK
