So really been into some Tomahawk lately. I got the first two, & I've checked out the third one online & I really don't know what to think about it so far. Anyhoo, I found this pretty killer live vid on youtube. Hope you enjoy...

Here's something off the third release "Anonymous"...
Cool track! Nice and heavy.
I think it's Mike Patton's most straightforward sounding projects in recent times. I like the other projects outside of FNR, but sometimes I really got to be in the mood for that stuff. I don't know if the third one works out well as an experimental concept album. The first two are really good. Kinda has a FNM edge to it as oppose to his other projects that I thought had a more Mr Bungle edge to it.
That's it! I knew I recognized the name, (this seems to happen a lot) but I couldn't place it. It is one of Patton's projects isn't it.
Not sure what I think of it yet either, but it sounds like it has potential to grow on me. Digging the fx rack by his mic stand... and what he's doing with it...
guitar player is rockin the e-bow! yeah! sounds good ray, i dig the tomahawk. the duck call is a nice touch too. a homage to his humboldt redneck roots maybe? at any rate, rad live vid.
Doomsayer 2001: It's hard to keep track of all his bands, I saw an interview somewhere were he wanted to do an album singing in Italian, I didn't even know Peeping Tom was out till not to long ago. He was talking it about for a while then I stopped hearing about it. He said it was going to be bigger than Britney Spears lol!
vannatta: I really liked the first one off the back, but the second one took a few listens. The third I don't know at this point, seems a little to self indulgent for my taste at this point for me. Which is fine that a band those that if it works. I think you can get a new cool sound sometimes that way.
leftoverking: I thought you might like this one Jeff. Mike P. throws a great show even when he's trying to throw a bad one. But this is a killer performance from him.
