One of me Fave Live Albums (A Rock Bottom Classic!)From Wikipedia:Strangers In The Night is a live album by the British rock band UFO, first released in 1979 (see 1979 in music) on the Chrysalis label. The album was recorded in 1978 at shows in Chicago, Illinois and Louisville, Kentucky. This was UFO's last concert recording with guitarist Michael Schenker before the band's reunion in 1993. Schenker departed the band immediately after the tour ended and it has been rumored that he refused to record any overdubs-- (citation needed) for the album, which would make this an accurate account of his live guitar work (It should be noted that to date Schenker has never been directly asked in any printed or recorded interview about recording overdubs for Strangers. In fact, when he has discussed the album he has mentioned disappointment with the chosen tracks and has said "there were better takes they could've used").Strangers In The Night peaked at #8 on the UK charts and #42 on the US charts. Strangers is generally considered by critics to be one of the best live rock albums of all time. Slash, former guitarist for Guns 'N Roses and current guitarist for Velvet Revolver, has previously stated that this is his favorite live album.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strangers_In_The_Night_%28UFO_album%29CLICK ABOVE FOR MORE INFOhttp://www.ufo-music.info/news.htmUFO WEBSITE

  1. atman says I posted about UFO a while back. They opened for Ozzy around 81 or so. I was so blasted I can't hardly remember it. Total shame. Can't remember Randy either. Michael Schenker is a favorite guitar player of mine.
