While Black friday usually finds me sitting at home hiding from the monster of consumerisim, I found out yesterday that tomorrow is my dad's birthday. So I had to leave the house today. I made a bee line for home depot and picked up a cool little ratcheting precision screwdriver set for him for 5.00. I even managed to shoot the gap at the self checkstand between an old man who gave up on the technology and went to a line, and a family argueing about weather or not they were ready to check out. Traffic was thick and flowed like the last of the ketchup but I hit most of the lights and even got in front of the bus. I gotta say this has been a pretty lucky day.

I don't keep track of any birthday but my own. I don't even remember my kids birthdays. It's up to the women in my life to keep up with that kinda stuff!

I need to get somemore Xmas lights, the bottom of the tree is lightless. Think I'll wait till tomorrow. I always get my Moms Birthday mixed up with an ex-girlfriends b day from my teen years. That reminds me I'm out of Odouls. I was gonna chuck some leftover steaks on the grill, but a cloud cover is coming in. I'll play it by ear. Now you got me in the mood for sum VH Woman & Children 1st.

Yea had to quit the real stuff because of health reasons. I drink the "Odouls Amber," taste pretty good. The regular Odouls, kinda taste like Pierra water. Miller Shraps is not bad either. Was at Costco the other day eyeing that Pabst Blue Ribbon though lol! Had a few of them at the Mog meet up here earlier this year.
Yeah I hear that. Health can really suck the life outta ya. I tried the non alcaholic thing when I wen't on the wagon a while ago. It dosn't help me, mostly it makes me want a real beer so bad I go get one. So for me not drinking means lots of tea and coffee! I also like virgin margaritias during the summer. (you know, if i'm not having REAL margaritas) Alcaholisim is a hideous bitch goddess but like they say "fat chicks need love too".
Thats a tight band! I saw them a couple of years back and they played the concert just like that
dansem: I take a lot of meds, so coupled with alcohol raises my liver enzymes. The fake stuff has some, but not enough to cause any problems. Yea Alcoholism is a hideous bitch, I've had a few friends die from it, & some that are in bad shape because of it.
earthman: Cool! That's one band I've wanted to see. Great musicians, they have a rep for always getting the top studio cat's to back them up.
I haven't thought about this song in a long time. My Black Friday was great. Both productive and relaxing at the same time.
