Ron Paul For President!

Posted about 4 years ago
Ron Paul 2008 is the only candidate who voted against the invasion of Iraq and who voted against the Patriot Act. He is also a Constitutionalist, he doesn't get enough media coverage. He's the people candidate... http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=70183124&MyToken=af9ab8a7-1d31-4d37-a2b3-01c415bc2e9c

  5. deadmandeadman says C'mon! This is the man who said during one of the laughable "debates" that we ought to get completely out of the mideast even to the point of letting the Israelis and the peace-loving arab nations surrounding it work out their own peace. Look, he has many admirable position on an array of issues. But when I watch his archived speeches its like watching a comedy skit. He's as nebulous as Barack with twice the passion, a laugh a minute. He would wrap the U. S. in an isolationist bubble and let the world rot.

  6. deadmandeadman says ??sounds good to me. better than being the fucking cops of the globe?? And it sounds good to Ron Paul too, that's why he's considered a joke. Most sentient creatures realized a long time ago that the "head in the sand" thing ain't gonna work. Our enemies fervantly pray for us to adopt such a stance. Osama even whined in one of his tapes that the dems didn't do what they promised (ending the war, like we can do it unilaterally). No, Ron Paul is safely outside the discussion.

  8. Groon says I'm not saying I agree 100% with every single thing he says right down to the letter, but I firmly believe we are too involved in the rest of the world, the Constitution should be the guide as to how much of my life the government has a say in (a whole lot less than it does now), the govermnet needs to be seriously reduced in size, etc etc. I never once thought he had a real chance, but it's been a long time since there's been a candidate out there I could listen to without having to choke down an involuntary rush of bile every time they spoke.

  9. laura27 says fully agree. if i was american i'd vote for ron paul. he's the only one who seems to support the 9/11 truth movement and other controversial issues that the others are too scared to face.

  10. deadmandeadman says ??he's the only one who seems to support the 9/11 truth movement and other controversial issues that the others are too scared to face?? He attempted a half-hearted repudiation during the debates. When Ron Paul has to speak extemporaneously he becomes laughably pathetic. >>Groon buddy, I concur with your assessment of governmental intrusion into our lives. Taxes are too high, Government is too big by half. **Most** of R. P.'s rhetoric is boiler plate conservatism. (his embrace of the "9/11 truth tellers", however brief, is truely troubling. As are his foreign policy pronouncements.). >>Truth is, its a tricky world out there, full of complex problems we know, and unforseen problems to come. We have to keep that in mind. >>>Another truth is this; I am equally concerned with the government intrusions of the left (hate crimes laws, seat belt/helmet/smoking laws, etc, etc, etc) as I am the ones from the right. Just think, If the F.O.P. & the Correction officer's union didn't have the dems in their back pocket, I could legally smoke a dube.

  11. Groon says I am equally concerned with the government intrusions of the left (hate crimes laws, seat belt/helmet/smoking laws, etc, etc, etc) as I am the ones from the right. Here, here. I firmly believe that if government stepped aside and stuck to its basic responsibilities, and stopped trying to tell me what I can and can't do, and stopped using resources to force me to do such things, then we'd all be a lot better off. As far as the head in the sand goes, while I can't condone a 100% isolationist policy, we are way too far into everyone else's business. It's interesting to me that while we have no problem sticking our head up the rest of the world's ass, we get so angry when the rest of the world expects the same of us.

  13. RGM says They don't want us there we need to pull out. Bush has told the world by his actions that it's O.K. to invade us. I might not agree with evey single thing he say's, but I don't trust and don't agree with a lot of things the other canidates say. Ron Paul is the only one who seems to have any real integrity, and is very sincere in what he say's. Like I said He is a Constitutionalist, and I think that scare's a lot of people in the reality how things could change rapidly. A lot of people in certain position's have a lot to loose if he were elected, and the people have a lot to gain...

  14. tybees says I really love the guy. I will freely admit that I avoid political conversations because I simply haven't educated myself about what's really going on. Ron Paul inspired me to dig a little deeper and he comes across as movingly sincere. I've never "supported" any presidential candidate in my life, and I'm sad to say it looks like he "doesn't stand a chance":http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5gOwAW4l-Er4ibBV4B3DSXpiMiGtgD8UMUPV00 and he knows it. It would've been nice to finally have a president who isn't in bed with the corporations and the financially elite. Get ready for your RFID chip.

  15. deadmandeadman says Groon, Being a strict constitutionalist you have to admit whatever failings the shrub has, he's appointed some excellent supreme court judges. RGM says.....??Ron Paul is the only one who seems to have any real integrity, and is very sincere in what he say's. Like I said He is a Constitutionalist, and I think that scare's a lot of people in the reality how things could change rapidly?? ...>>>>You got that right! And If he appointed like minded supremes? Boom! Roe V Wade? toast! Restrictions on gun onership ??and?? the right to ??carry?? weapon? restored.

  16. RGM says deadmandeadman says:*You got that right! And If he appointed like minded supremes? Boom! Roe V Wade? toast! Restrictions on gun onership and the right to carry weapon? restored.* Well thoughs are somethings, he also wants to get rid of the IRS and the federal tax income. He also is a doctor, and he says that abortion goes against his vow as a doctor. He also wants to get rid of corporate welfare, and take us off the dependence of other nation's for oil. As a Constitutionalist he believe's in the "right to bear arms."

But he's real popular online, I am one who thinks we should do evreything in our power to resist the RFID chip. *And I mean everything! It's we the people!*
