More Emilie Simon. Do you like her version of Nirvana's Come As You Are?

I really like it. I think it's powerful in a different way to Nirvana's. It's more gothy and haunting. Listening to it, there's menace in the air. I think it would be great for the soundtrack of a vampire movie.

    Joxley says I'm not too sure myself, although I do quite like the haunting style I think it is more of an angry song and should come out in such a way.

    LD50 says Yeah, very nice - the original isn't actually one of my favourite Nirvana songs but this version gives it a nice new perspective,. You're spot on about the vampire movie soundtrack too, it has a real aura of desolation about it...but in a very appealing sexy kind of way...if that makes sense. ;p I confess that I'd heard of her before but never actually listened to her - what would you recommend now that I feel inclined to investigate further?
