This is mine - Chuck Berry - You Never Can Tell - although there are others I love.

  1. Terry Staunton says Ooh, now this is a specific post... Yeah, I reckon the Chuckster's got this one sewn up. I still like the Dick Dale instrumental over the opening credits, a piece of music I attempt to duplicate first thing every morning and last thing at night, while gargling.

  4. Nixne Svix says son of a preacher man. it reminds me of an ex girl freind who was neither a son or a daughter of a preacher man but she danced about in skivvies lip syncing so it was all well and good. i dig the surf guitar abounding on this album. it reminds me of fantomas and the giraffes, its really tense sometimes.

  7. QueenofHell says I dressed up like Mia Wallace for a fancy dress party (aged 15) during which my boyfriend acted strangely - because of something that had happened with his psycho ex. It was a funny night. A great guy I knew said, 'Helen you should go out with me and not him'. That's something I regret not listening to.

    Permalink posted 11/05/2006
  43. Nixne Svix says ha. okay. so danza yes :taxi, then. noy happy days that was the fonz. danza is most famous here for a show called "who's the boss" . where he was hired as a house keeper and his daughter(alyssa milano) move in with a widow and her son. classic american crap. i loved it. it wasnt a-team or knight rider but it was swell.

  68. Dale says "Miserlou" takes me back to my teenage years, in California, surfing every spare moment, so that's my favorite. Helen, please let us know how the rave goes. Just b/c I don't do drugs doesn't mean I don't like to dance. Anyway, sounds like loads of fun.
    Permalink posted 11/05/2006
  69. QueenofHell says It's not a proper rave Dale. New Rave isn't like acid house so it won't be full off people who are totally off their heads. I certainly won't be on drugs. Wiki says that, 'New Rave, as coined by British music magazine NME, is a developing style of music fusing elements of electronic dance music and rock.[1] It has similarities with US-led style Dance-punk.' The Klaxons are an example:

  72. lemontwist says Guess I missed out on this post. Damn having a bad cold and high fever and not wanting to use the computer all day yesterday. :( I like the song over the opening credits best. But I love that part where they're dancing. Two nights ago my best friend and I were dancing like that at a banquet. :)
