I keep Listening 'n Listening to Tapes 'n Tapes

I cannot stop listening to "Cowbell" by Tapes 'n Tapes.

Really. It's not like it's an amazingly inventive new sound; it's just catchy and makes me grin. Really. I grin whilst listening. I don't have them on my work computer so I found them on that other social networking site (we wont name names) and have been listening to "Cowbells" all morning and now, officially, afternoon. My foot hasn't had this strong an urge to tap since, I dunno, Wham!, maybe. Maybe not; probably not. George's short shorts get me going, but that's more of a spirit fingers urge.Please listen to this song. It comes equipped with a "yourmom" joke-like reference. Beat that.No need for explanation of this:

    mcdermott says told you! you have to also love 10 gallon ascots and jakov's suite (i love how the kick ass fast instrumental beginning segues into a slower song), and manitoba if you're looking for something a little slower..... this album is getting obsessive levels of play on my itunes right now....i have to catch these guys live... I think my favorite thing about most of their songs is the constant change of pace in them. A number of them start off really rocking and then morph into a slow song (none more than Jakov's Suite). It's the shifting styles within songs that keeps me interested.
