"Céu" In 9 Words

Posted over 2 years ago

I don't nearly have the time (or possibly inclination) that I'd like to devote to proper reviews. I also find that succinct language drives the point home in a clearer fashion. That said, I will now continue what I started with my review of Radiohead's "In Rainbows".

Ahem.

"Every time I listen to Céu I get pregnant."

  2. Pseudo Cyborg says SERiously. It just kinda snuck out and grabbed the world. The people behind marketing this album did an amazing job, and rightly so. It's one of those that just needed to be heard by people.

  3. ROCKNROLLPIMP says what sucks so bad is you could get it FREE and more than half the peeps snagged it off of torrents, blogs etc damn shoot the cats a 10 spot for christ sake ;(

  4. Pseudo Cyborg says Yeah, but I firmly believe that this is one of those cases where it helped spur even more sales. It's one of those albums that crosses all kinds of demographics... especially ones that normally don't seek out new music. Picture this: Little Timmy Torrenter grabs the album and starts listening. Mom and Dad who aren't so computer savvy overhear it and as Timmy who it is. They write the name down and head to the mall and pick up a copy. But Mom and Dad drive their own cars. They aren't so computer savvy so either they don't think to ask Timmy or don't want to burden him with burning a copy. Out they go to buy another.

  11. Spike says Oops. The internet dictionary told me yesterday it meant "nothing" in Brazillian Portuguese, but now it says it doesn't mean anything. Sorry about that. I looked like I knew what I was talking, didn't I?
