I got into Bad Brains long after they were first popular. I first found out about them after I bought the punk rock photo compilation book "Fuck You Heroes" by Glen E Friedman. I saw the band in many photos. They looked wild and really interesting. I went to my local music store one day in 1995 and picked up my first BB album: God of Love. I got home and put it on my CD player one sunny summer afternoon and just LOVED it. It was the brilliant mix of the super-energizing hardcore punk songs with the totally mellow Rastafarian reggae tracks that just did it for me. Ever since Ive been listening to them. I hope you enjoy this great track.

They are just one of the many artists that we hear on a daily basis in various establishments here in Hawaii. Reggae has nothing to do with Hawaiian music and yet it is the most popular style of music out here that the majority of local acts incorporate into their sound.
