MOG

A few years ago i was down at my pub (No I don't own it...it's in back of my house or crawling distance if necessary.)when I ran into my friend Thor. He was drumming with his band called Shearwater after having played in "Angels Of Light" and Lisa Germano.

. . We got to talking about (Smog) and how Bill Callahan was a client of mine. Thor was a big fan and giddily wanted to get in touch with Bill. All I could do was email Bill and give him Thor's information. . . A day later Bill emailed me a quick thanks and slowly I began to see Shearwater and (Smog) performing and recording together. . . Fast forward to last Friday when I was at a Clinic show. I ran into Thor and Jonathan Meiburg. Jonathan had not until that point realized that I was the conduit that put the two together. "You changed my life" he said as if I had introduced him to his wife. I simply met a friend at a bar and sent off an email...but his praise for having pushed musical creativity felt nice.
