I've coined the phrase "COOL POP" (okay, maybe someone else said it first) to define their sound. If they are 1/8 as good as they were in March when I saw them at SXSW I will be satisfied. . . .

First of all, I like the post, and I like the song a lot. But it wasn't at all what I expected to hear. Cool Pop implys, (hints at?), (conjurs)(?)....I don't know...light, breezy innocuous fun music. These guys have an underlying funkiness, a rocky, rubbery heady groove thing that will never be taken for funk, but slinks along just fine IMHO.
