On this past wintry and windy Sunday evening, Under the Influence of Giants brought their inspiring brand of dance-pop sunshine to warm up local Boston bar, Great Scott. A small crowd filled the floor as these four SoCal boys, disguised in winter coats appropriate to the 12 degree weather, hung out next to the bar’s bathroom and waited for their crew to finish setting up the stage. Been listening to the Klaxons a lot lately... and I've found this afternoon, through rigorous experimentation, that their upbeat music makes a great writing companion. Especially when you aren't particularly thrilled with writing. And this is the first time I've experimented with the mp3 thing... enjoy!
It has been 78 days since my last MOG. I'm not sure where the time went. I haven't been doing anything in particular. Had a couple of reviews published, but I'll put them each in their own blog... I was a finalist in one of the "I'm From Rolling Stone" competitions, which was pretty cool. Umm... school has started again. And I now have a job. Since then, I've really gotten into their sound which is very eclectic and intriguing. T

The harmonies that make this or that phrase particularly awesome.I was thinking about this tonight as I was calmly driving along listening to the Beatles -- "Love Me Do" to be specific. As I was singing along with the harmonies (yes, it is man...
I have filled up my 60GB iPod... which means that, sadly, I will have to begin taking things off of it. This makes me very sad, as I will no longer be able to carry around my entire music world with me. I will have to develop some diplomatic way of deciding what goes on the iPod. Any suggestions? How did you all resolve this issue?
