Bought my tickets for Keane in Boston today! I'm excited... especially as Razorlight are opening! (See my previous post: http://mog.com/PlaysTheTart/blog_post/4908)I must admit that I never really got into Keane with "Hopes and Fears". I like "Somewhere Only We Know" and I fell in love with "Bedshaped" after seeing them perform the song at Live8 last year. But other than that, I think I wasn't at the point that I could or would appreciate them. But I picked up the new album in June and I was instantly hooked. I think this album feels a bit more rock 'n' roll to me, coupled with a few tracks that are a bit more ethereal (i.e. "Atlantic"). I also find this album quite topical as far as subject goes (see "Is It Any Wonder?", "A Bad Dream") which has perhaps piqued my interest further.Not sure what it is, but this album has been on heavy, heavy rotation for awhile. I can't wait to see them in concert!
