Soundtrack to quitting your job.

Posted over 3 years ago
Been listening to Razorlight's "Up All Night" in preparation for the new album... though who the hell knows when it will be released in the US. And it just happened to provide a great soundtrack to my life today... which included resigning from my job. I'm moving to Boston in about three weeks to go back to school."Rock 'n' Roll Lies"And here it comes now, there's nothing to sayThere it goes again but no-one cares anywayWhat's in your eyes, your rock'n'roll eyes'Cause it's all just the lies, just the rock'n'roll lies"Vice"Wild is the wind that strips away our sinsYours is the night, but you don't know where to beginBut I heard you sayYou've got a feeling that it's just around the bendI heard you saySometimes you fall into the arms of no-one at allI mean to say that that's alrightI did what I could!"Up All Night"That sweet and sacred feeling you knowWill never last longEvery time you turn around you'll seeOne more part of you, yes it's gone"Don't Go Back to Dalston"It's a big big worldAnd you can do what you likeYou can do anything you wantBecause darling, it's your life"In the City"And she's been reading Bukowski for daysLeans over, spits her name in my faceAnd says "well now you know how it feels""Somewhere Else"I really, really wish I could beSomewhere elseThan hereBring on the new part of my life...
