Yes, my friends. That's true. If I did NOT have a negative balance in my bank account, and over $1000 worth of credit card debt, I would be getting ready for ANOTHER concert tonight.And I just got back from a concert in Chicago less than 4 hours ago.Friday night, I went to see greaaaaaaaaat bands. "The Lager House":http://www.lagerhousedetroit.com had a cd release party for Detroit's "Freer":http://www.myspace.com/freerdom ! , with "Office":http://www.myspace.com/officemusic !, and "The Silent Years":http://www.myspace.com/thesilentyears !. My friend, Jay, was excited for the other opening band, "Tigercity":http://www.myspace.com/tigercity , however, I generally do not like what he recommends to me. I was mostly excited for Office, because it had been some time since I had seen them. I arrived just in time for Tigercity, and they were amazing. Imagine rollerskating in the summer... that's Tigercity! Hah, at least, that's how they make me feel. I'd compare them to Prince and the BeeGees [Apparently, Rolling Stone agrees with me! (Maybe I read "this article":http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/index.php/2006/12/07/new-favorite-band-tigercity a LONG time ago, because it is rather verbatim with my feelingssss)] and it's amazing! I went to the concert at the Lager House with my friend, Dana, and she realized that Tigercity were amazing (as did I), and that the guitarist was so beautiful that we should stalk him! So we did!We decided at approximetely 1:45am Saturday morning to go to Chicago 12 hours from then. And we did!We saw Tigercity play another great show, and it was even better for me... because I spent Saturday morning listening to their myspace songs (and making my mom fall in love with them, haha :D) and spent that night in Chicago singing and dancing :). My friend managed to get a demo from the guitarist, so we were able to listen to their sing along to good music on the drive home.Here's a video of them from Friday night... -It hasn't been working properly the past 3 hours, but hopefully it'll work by the time anyone reads this.- Youtube hates me, let's try google! And tonight I missed out on seeing the Long Winters, and Stars of Track and Field. I just can't. And I feel like a bad person because of it.Which you know... means I'm addicted :(
