More complaints from a street teamer

I had signed up to join Rocky Votolato's street team because1) Barsuk is a great label, and maybe I could2) Spread Barsuk artist love3) Spread RV love4) Get cool RV posters5) Get tickets to his show (Yes, I'm broke and cheap)So I got some cool posters. I spread the RV love. And Heather from barsuk told me that I was good for #5. So I told my friend that I would take her to the show on her birthday. We get there late, after having a damn time with driving, and I'm not on the guest list. We only have $20 between the three of us, and I couldn't even drop off the posters I was supposed to hang up. Even if we had the money, by the time we got there the show was 10 people away from selling out. It was packed. So I ruined my friend's birthday :(It was pretty shitty. I felt like an ass. I didn't have a contact phone number, thus I was screwed. I always feel so ungrateful when I send emails about not being on the guestlist or getting tickets, but I also feel like my work is not appreciated. (I guess you could call it work).Good things that came out of it.1) Called my friend Sean for bar recommendations, and found the Bronx Bar. It was nice. If I had to go to a bar with friends, I wouldn't mind going there. Their jukeboxes were interesting as well :) (Not as good at the one at Schuba's).2) I saved my money for my stalking of Tahiti 80 and Brookville. Sure, I was really excited to see Rocky Votolato, but I'm more excited to see Tahiti 80 and Brookville. My dreams have been very weird lately. I had a dream that Micah P Hinson and Rocky Votolato were playing at Kroger.
