Springtime Brunch Music

Posted almost 4 years ago
When it finally warms up about two weeks after Easter, throw a brunch. Make a big spinach fritatta (easy: just a bunch of eggs, spinach and cheese with some garlic and bread crumbs), drink bellinis or mimosas, and be romantic with Stephen Grapelli and Django Reinhardt in the background. You'll be dancing cheek to cheek before you know it.And while you're at it, put some Madeleine Peyroux and some Jean Sablon on the CD rotation, too. Do this and I assure yo: SOMEone's gonna end up getting asked out on a date.

  2. PeaceBang says Hey, you could have a brunch and have all your single friends bring someone they think might meet someone interesting for someone else you invite!! I once fixed up two friends at my Easter dinner -- I invited the guy for MYSELF but realized there was nothing there. He wound up totally smitten by my friend Sophie and it all worked out great -- for about four months for them. Oh well. I'm still up for romantic matchmaking brunches!
