You're going to laugh and sneer, but I just remembered how much my father, who died in 1983, loved the Bar'. He would sing "This One's For You" full voice along with the car radio and my siblings and I knew that he was singing for his mother, who died when he was in his early 20's off fighting the stupid Korean War. He would get all teary-eyed and we'd get lumps in our throats.So in honor of my dad, I downloaded "Even Now" and sing it full voice in the car, thinking of him. It's the least I could do. "Even now when I come shining through,I swear I think of youand how I wish you knew...even now."Listen to it and stay dry-eyed, I dare ya.
