This track was number 11 on the set list at Outside Lands this past Friday, and I thought it was played quite well along with the other songs off In Rainbows such as Reckoner, 15 Step and Videotape. Despite the two sound cuts in the third and fifth song of the show, Radiohead managed to keep the crowd pleased while maintaining a steady presence throughout. The visual aspect of their 2 hour show was perhaps the most impressive part, but upon listening back to this recording, I began to realize that they played amazingly. During National Anthem, Johnny Greenwood's Kaoss Pad effects processor was picking up Oakland baseball coverage with that oh so famailiar voice blaring with delay over it.
Radiohead, along with every other headliner at the main stage could be heard blasting throughout the richmond including almost the entirety of Geary from the beginning to the end of Golden Gate Park. I really wanted to see Primus almost as badly as Radiohead, but I was more than satisfied by the shows put on by Steel Pulse and Beck on Friday. Steel Pulse played a bit short for my taste, but well nevertheless. With a nice dub version of "Marcus Say" to kick things off, I was quite pleased for the duration of their set. Beck had an awesome drop of the song "Hell Yes", but I left before the end of his hour in order to get a decent spot for Radiohead.
