Lately I have heard a lot about how lacking Del's newest album is, and although I agree for the most part that he changed his style so much that it almost seems like a prank, when I saw him live at the catalyst in April it blew my mind. He was so efficient, and he played almost no new songs which surprised me considering how every artist tends to promote their newest material. It was jus him, his DJ and A Plus which was perfect for songs like "Oakland Blackouts", but he even convered Hip-Hop by Dead Prez, but he completely freestyled over it. Practically every song was freestyled over, and it became really apparent that he was one of the most talented rappers I have ever witnessed. When I saw them play at last year's Rock the Bells festival, I had those shivers that you get on hot days when some band comes on, and is so precise with their styles and levels that it seems like the album is being acted out in front of you. The point I am trying to make is that even though the Fillmore has yielded me some intense scalping experiences, it will be more than worth it to see them on the 18th of September. Easily my favorite rap group of all time, and perhaps up there with Parcyde, and Wu Tang.
This video from Rock the Bells is a shiover inducer, but only to a more moderate degree. So sick either way. That a way to stay proud of the Bay.

We should do that mog meet, that sounds tight. I really want to see rock the bells again cause of how good it was, but I may have to choose between it and hiero. I could really use a good del performance again, especially backed by the rest of the group.
