The Brazilian girls release their new EP, More Than Pussy today, August 28th. The digital-only remix EP features Carl Craig’s remix of the Brazilian Girls’ “Last Call,” a remix of “Jique” by MSTRKRFT, two remixes of “Pussy” by armsofghandi featuring dancehall star Mr. Vegas and Gabby Kerpel respectively and the Brazilian Girls’ own take on the Talking Heads classic “Crosseyed and Painless” recorded in English and Spanish and mixed by legendary mixer and producer Tchad Blake. The More Than Pussy EP off-shoots many of the most popular tracks from the group’s eponymous debut and sophomore album Talk To La Bomb. A video for Talk To La Bomb track “Rules of the Game” recently surfaced.
The Brazilian Girls next play KCRW’s World Festival at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on August 26 with Macy Gray and Zap Mama.
