DJ Mark Ronson to Remix Bob Dylan

Posted over 4 years ago
Bob Dylan has given the green light to DJ Mark Ronson for the first-ever official Bob Dylan remix. Ronson, who has recently jumped to the A-list status thanks to his production creds on Lily Allen's Alright, Still and Amy Winehouse's Back to Black, will remix Dylan's “Most Likely You’ll Go Your Way (And I’ll Go Mine).”The remix will show-up on DYLAN, the fan-centric collection due October 1st. “It’s the first time Bob Dylan’s given anyone the original multi-tracks of his songs to do remixes," Ronson told Clickmusic.com. "I’m a huge Dylan fan, so it’s a great honor, and the fact that he heard it and approved it, as you imagine he’d be quite picky.”"Like A Rolling Stone," Bob Dylan

  3. Michael Goldberg says Those Dylan recordings - from his debut through at least New Morning - are classic. Part of what is so great about them is they were recorded live in the studio. The tape caught what happened, and what happened was so powerful that all these years later - in some cases 40 years! - we still listen to those recordings and they continue to reveal new things. Remixing Dylan! Absurd!!!
