Beyonce Releasing Spanish-Language EP

Posted over 2 years ago
On August 21st, Beyonce will release an eight-track Spanish language EP titled Irreemplazable. The EP will feature reworked tunes off her most recent multi-platinum album B'day. We didn't know that the Houston native spoke Spanish so well, but it appears one can learn a lot signing a duet with Shakira. The pair recently teamed up on the hit single "Beautiful Liar."Three versions of the Beyonce/Shakira duet make the EP: one fully recorded in Spanish, another performed in Spanglish featuring Sasha (also known as Beyoncé), and finally the English version of the single. On the EP also is the tune “Amor Gitano,” with Grammy Award winning artist, Alejandro Fernandez, which is a hit Spanish single and the theme song for the immensely popular telenovela (Spanish soap opera,) Zorro. Beyonce also recreated her Academy Award Nominated song, "Oye (Listen)," from the Dreamgirls soundtrack. The original and Nortena remix of “Irreemplazable” (Irreplaceable) also make the Ep, as do three different versions of Beyonce/Shakira duet, “Beautiful Liar.” Irreemplazable ends with a Timbaland remix of “Get Me Bodied” featuring well known Reggaeton artist, Voltio.
