Jonny Greenwood's Composition Hits The US, New Art Book From Radiohead

Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood will premier his mini-orchestra composition in the US early next year.Popcorn Superhet Receiver for string orchestra is set to make its Ameerican debut New York City's St. Paul The Apostle as part of The Wordless Music Series. The dates for the event are January 16th-17th, 2008.Greenwood's composition, which premiered in London last year, is 20-minutes long and was inspired by white noise and classical composers Krzysztof Penderecki, Gyorgy Ligeti and Olivier Messiaen.In the meantime, Radiohead are finishing up work on the follow-up to 2003's Hail To The Thief.
In other Radiohead news, a book of the artwork that has appeared on Radiohead albums will be released this October. Dubbed Dead Children Playing the book will feature work from Radiohead Stanley Donwood and an anonymous artist, "Dr Tchock." The two have been creating art for Radiohead since the band's 1995 The Bends.
