Scraps That Amount to Gold

Artist:
The so called "chillwave" movement is gaining momentum, and championing it into the mainstream is Perry, Gorgia's Ernest Greene (beter known as Washed Out). With last years sleeper "Life Of Leisure" spawning the nostalgic induced track "Feel It All Around", it proved that Washed Out's future is one of promise.
Between that album, and his EP "High Times", Washed Out has a collection of 16 tracks ready for consumption. With the average track length hovering around 2 and half minutes, the downside is that it goes by too quickly. (Especially for someone with this much promise)
However, should he be stopping by your town with New York's Small Black, there's a gem of an EP placed on his merch table that has yet to make it out into the wild.
For a mear $10, Washed Out's odds and sods collection of work in progress tracks is nothing short of a worthy follow up in its own right.
The 8 track, no name EP flat out contains some of his best stuff. The cavet is that according to his wife, who was working the merch table, none of these work in progress tracks are being considered for his next release.
Whether that statement changes over time is of course yet to be seen. But if this is Ernest Greene's scraps, I can only imagine what his sophomore release will sound like.
