New DJ /rupture Uproot

I just noticed that the incrediblly versatile and knowledgeable DJ /rupture has a new mix out, named Uproot. I have not put my mitts on it yet, but it sounds like he has retained his touch with world rhythms and continues in a dubstep direction leaving the previous breakcore sounds from years past. The track selections are mystical and lovely, but you are never far from the sonic slums of snappy drum programing and warbbling bass modulation. Here is a teaser vid! It really is a beautiful selection called Reef, by Baby Kites and Nokea.

Great music, but the film is especially astounding to the eyes.
I haven't been able to sit down and listen to the whole album yet .... a sameness kind of sets in ... which I think is a testament to how much he is able to fit a lot into his mold .... but the first 3-4 songs always grab me .... and this intro is especially strong. It is obvious he is a talented mixer ... and I keep coming back to the mix so that says something ....

Yeah, I kind of like the sameness. The textures are great and the journey is not too jarring, unlike some of his past mixes.
