WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Early and under the covers with Nilsson

Posted about 1 year ago
Such a great little New Orleans influenced bluesy number with a memorably sparse arrangement. I am not sure who wrote the original, but there is a much earlier version by Louis Jordan in the comments.

  2. Hammerogod says I am willing to stick my neck out and say that I was Harry Nilsson's biggest fan back in the early 70's. When my friends would come to my house I would play the lastest Nilsson album for them before I even asked them if they wanted a Beer. It was sorta rude to make them wait for a Beer, but I turned a lot of people on to his music.

  3. Oatmeal says I learned about him from my dad who is also a big fan. This particular song hearkens to foggy childhood memories of looking at LP covers on the floor while listening to the turntable. The beer aspect of your story is hilarious.
