Where on earth to start. OK, how about Cincinnati. That is where I was last week at this time, but the life of a law student with a family of four is about hustlin in these times. So I wrapped up my fellowship at a legal center for low income individuals, threw a few bikes on the back and bags in the trunk and Oatmeal and the ladies set out for points South.
So we are back in New Orleans. First we had to find a new apartment - done. Now I am basically puting in a bunch of networking time to find a job for after my graduation in May '10. Not that much fun, especially when the specter of major six digit debt debt awaits upon graduation from a certain pricey law school. But hey, these days in my mind, it is all about keeping the faith. So I am trying to keep thinking, imagining, working, and living and looking for that break.
The music is some serious left-field hip hop by Dabrye. It is odd, but I approve. I long for the days when debt is paid and I can just stand up and throw down some tracks for the masses.
Keep it real in your head, and the outside will make more sense. My new mantra. I hope y'all are turning down the dischord out there and realizing that happiness comes with learning what you can control and what you cannot, with lots of love spread in the cracks.

I can get with that..good luck in the job search..it still seems a distant dream to me at this point. Sounds like dragons being born on that track. In Japan. Nice.
In respect of your proposed career, as Henry Kissinger would say "Good lug".
So far as the tune is concerned, I'll pass, thanks all the same; sounds a bit like my bowels after putting too many chillies into a curry
LOVE this tune. thx for the listen Oatmeal!
thoroughly enjoyed every weird sound. it's amazing when producers are able to use such unusual, glitchy sounds and still end up with a totally mellow and laid-back piece.
